Right now I am only able to accept PayPal funds transfers, and credit/debit cards and e-checks processed through PayPal. I can no longer accept personal checks via mail, sorry.

STEP 1: Make your accounts!

NEW SUBSCRIBERS: Make a free parent account at if you haven’t already done so, then assign each child an account. (If your child has an account but you don’t, that’s ok! Make a parent account and follow the directions to associate your child’s account with your parent account. Make sure you use a valid email address, and remember what email address you used it! In fact, go ahead and write the email address you used down somewhere because I’m going to ask you for it.

RENEWALS: This membership will add 1 year on to your current membership, whether it’s annual or monthly.

STEP 2: Determine how many licenses you need.
You need 1 license per child. Each license is $12. There will be a small handling fee of $1.50 added to each order to cover the currency exchange fee, for more information on the handling fee check out our FAQ page.

STEP 3: Buy your license(s) using PayPal.
Payment is due by 11:59pm PST on March 16, 2016 (that’s 2:59am EST 2/17)..NO EXCEPTIONS.
Payments received after this time will be refunded immediately. I will send out reminders to pay via the newsletter so you’ll have plenty of chances to pay on time.

STEP 4: Fill out this form letting me know that you paid.
I need all of the information asked for and filling out the form will save me A LOT of time, meaning you can get your licenses faster. This form must be filled out by 11:59pm PST March 16, 2016 or you WILL NOT be included in this buy.

STEP 5: Wait!
I know, I know. Tom Petty said it best when he sang “waiting is the hardest part”. Your child can continue to play on the free account for now, so they can keep on slaying those monsters. I am scheduled to pay Prodigy on March 17, 2016. Historically our accounts have been upgraded within 24 hours but please note that it could take up to 4 days.

Here’s how it works: I pay them. They go through the information I give them (the stuff I ask for on the form mentioned in step 4) and they go in to each account and manually upgrade each of our child accounts.

That’s it for now! Feel free to email me or comment below with any questions! Remember to sign up for the newsletter, make your free account, PAY, and FILL OUT THE FORM! All before March 16, 2016! Thanks!!

Why should I order the upgraded version through this group buy?
Your upgraded version includes more achievements, outfits, hairstyles, pets, and other goodies. While an upgraded account won’t affect your child’s educational play, we’ve heard from many parents that the upgraded account encourages their children to play more often and for longer periods of time.

YES! There is a small handling fee to help cover my costs (basically for payment processing fees) that will be $1.50 to $2.50 depending on how many licenses you buy!

Is it ok if we signed up as a teacher account instead of a parent account? The folks at Prodigy told me to sign up as a teacher a while back instead of a parent as a homeschooler so I would get more teacher oriented emails from them. There didn’t seem to be any other differences. Kid upgrade subscription was still same price, etc…

It doesn’t really matter, as long as you have some kind of an adult account with your children’s username associated with it :) They go into each account by hand and upgrade them, so you’re good either way.

THANK YOU for doing this & Offering the special! My 9 yr old son has been bugging me for the upgrade as he loves Prodigy, and I love that he’s practicing math without nagging!! <3 THANK YOU!

  • Lainey

I already signed up as a teacher and don’t want to create a whole new one since my kids have already been playing the free version. Can I still use these or do I have to have a parent account?

  • Samantha

Just found your website today and I see that I just missed this awesome deal. I hope you have this deal coming up again in the near future :)

Hi…I’m trying to pay through Paypal, but when I click on your link for 4 licenses, I cannot proceed through to Paypal. It keeps saying my device is not recognized and asks me to receive an automated call and/or a text to verify. I’ve done that a number of times but it keeps bouncing back to that, even though it accepts the verification code.

I can pay you directly through paypal by sending a payment. I just need your paypal address or whatever it’s called.

Sorry! The buys are closed now at the company’s request. We won’t be opening it again until it’s time for our renewals.

    • Meg Post author

If you sign up for the newsletter (plug your email address in at the bottom of this page) you’ll get an email every time we start a new buy. Prodigy won’t be renewed until much later this year at their request)

Hi, I am interested in the group buy for prodigy games. Would appreciate if you would notify me of the next group buy. I am definitely in. Thanks you so much.

Hi Nancy! Prodigy has decided not to allow us to renew this time, so we won’t be doing a buy. My advice is to find a local, in real life, group to do a buy with as that is the intention of their group discount program. Sorry!
